Bitget Wallet has unveiled a new in-app marketplace called ‘Shop With Crypto,’ which enables users to make crypto payments directly for more than 300 merchants connected to the app.
According to a press release sent to crypto.news, the service offers users a streamlined crypto payment experience directly from within the wallet. The in-app shop facilitates access to more than 300 global merchants, encompassing various sectors including gaming, digital wallet top-ups, e-commerce, mobile recharges, travel deals and many more.
To access “Shop with Crypto,” users can open the section in the Discovery Tab on the Bitget Wallet app. Purchases can be made directly on the platform with the user’s crypto wallet balance. After a purchase is made, users will receive redemption instructions via email immediately after checkout.
Users can browse through more than 300 merchants that can accept crypto payments without the need to exchange crypto to fiat, including Amazon, Walmart, Google Play, Steam, Shopee, Tmall, and JD.com and more.
One of the features offered through the in-app marketplace is access to gaming merchants launched in partnership with web3-native superstore Dotmart. Users can purchase in-game credits for mobile games such as PUBG Mobile, Free Fire MAX, and Mobile Legends with a 30% discount compared to direct in-game purchases.
COO of Bitget Wallet, Alvin Kan, said the company plans to further expand on Shop with Crypto’s array of merchants to include lifestyle subscriptions, additional travel options, and other types of merchant integrations.
“Users will be able to scan QR codes, tap cards, or shop in-app across hundreds of brands. We’ve built a simple, seamless, and secure experience that bridges digital assets with everyday spending,” said Kan.
Most recently, Bitget Wallet partnered with crypto payment service Paydify to facilitate stablecoin payments on the app. The integration enables merchants to accept stablecoin payments directly through the Paydify platform. The partnership aims to integrate itself with 10,000 global merchants.
